Replace Equipment, Repair Tile, and Re-plaster a Pool & Spa

This is a view of the pool / spa equipment before replacement.
The new filter, heater, time clock, and face plumbing.
This pool has been empty for a few years.
Note the leaves and debris on the floor.
Tiles are falling off and plaster is blistered and falling off.
Saw cut at the bottom of the tile line, chip out and remove the plaster to allow for a smooth transition from the new plaster to the existing tile.
Any area's of the existing plaster that has voids or loose area's is removed.

The sandblasting process begins.
The object of the sand blasting is to remove any loose plaster or debris and provide a sound base for the new plaster that is to be applied.
The sand and debris is being removed in one area while blasting continues in other areas.
Water is added to the sand / air mixture to keep the dust to a minimum.
Note the void area's in the floor and on the steps that were not solid and were removed.
The existing wall steps and main drain covers are removed. They will be replaced with new.
The surface is now washed to remove any contaminants and is prepared for the bond coat of plaster.
The tile is replaced with the customers selection.
The pipes coming into the pool & spa are taped off protect them and to keep them clean.
The bond coat of plaster is being applied.
Re-plastering is complete, including the step trim. The pool is now filling.
Note the new steps below the handrails.
New eyeball directional fittings are installed on the pipes where applicable.
New main drain covers are also installed.
The jobsite is cleaned up and hosed off.
Startup and operating instructions to follow, as soon as the pool is full of water.
Now it is time to start on the deck additions.
